This second annual event will once again be held at Bristol Dragway in beautiful Bristol, Tennessee. The success of the 1997 event and the fact that more and more Buick enthusiasts wanted a repeat event at this facility with great hospitality, prompted long time Buick racer and current event promoter Jim Haas to sit out the 1998 year while Bristol Dragway undergoes a major renovation to become a flagship facility.
There will once again be a Quick 32 bracket race as well as several heads up and bracket classes. An additional part of the event will be a car show for 20 classes of Buicks in all shapes and sizes. This event is open to any Buick powered automobile regardless of year or style. The fastest Gran Sports and Grand National cars are expected to attend in 2002 as well as Oldsmobiles and Pontiacs!
